Heres the situation. Considering getting myself a 2004/2005 wrx sti from Japan cause we can drive import cars here. ( gabarone , botswana)

Now.. provided the mileage is less then say 50 000 kms.

How do subaru engines hold up?? Do they take a beating??

Maintenance wise I would have to take it to South Africa... Are they prone to lots of problems??

Just want some general feedback from some owners of this model and there feelings. I really want to choose this car cause I think its the BOSS!!
