I work for Motability's Grants Team and we deal with hand controls all the time.
However Subaru are one of the few manufacturers not yet on our scheme...so haven't dealt with any on Impreza's yet although I dare say our approved adaptations companies have.

Welcome to ParaRallying
Met this guy at an exhibition, he broke his back a while ago but took up rallying anyway, top bloke and he does well, I had a sit in the car and tried to use the hand controls, looked very difficult to do quickly but he says with a bit of time he was as quick as any standard car out there on stage. He would be happy to talk to anyone who wants advice and there is an e-mail ad on the site.
