Just a quick shout to the team at Petch in Richmond (N Yorks) who have just sorted out the Scoob. That dreaded knocking sound reared its ugly at the rear last week, like it has for a few on here. I rang up on Tuesday and gave my decidely non tech version of what was going on (" its sort of like a duh duh duh duh duh sound coming from somewhere ") and before we'd finished the 5 mins phone call Richard had ordered the parts and booked the car in for 8.30 this morning. They replaced all the bouncy stuff in the **** end (all under warranty) while I horsed around the shops doing a bit of last minute stuff with a very welcome courtesy car.
They also pointed out that my front tyres were looking rather abused and my back ones werent far behind and that our friends in blue would be taking money off me soon if I didnt get them replaced. So I'm now noise free and reintroduced to grip. Top job

They replaced my rear shockers and fitted ppp at the same time earlier this year and both were totally hassle free

One of the guys at our BMW Dealership used to work there, kinda handy been mates with him if anything goes (or I think its going) wrong.
