I had an STi panel filter in which was pretty good. Put in a Green/TSL Group N panel filter and it's definitely flowing a lot better and sounds a bit more meaty even though it's an enclosed panel filter.

Green, JR Racing or K&N for the filter. Don't bother with an induction kit as they rarely give any benefit unless you're in big power territiory and provide a good cold air feed.
STi up-pipe doesn't have a cat (IIRC) so you should just need a down-pipe, and if you want to pass MOT's you'll need one with a 100 cell sports cat. You'll also need a decat'd centre, which can also be deresonated (no boxes, just a pipe). I'll let others suggest makes. You will also need to consider a remap to get the best out of your investments and protect the engine, so budget another £5-600 for that.
