Hi Guys first of all i just want to say hi to you all and wish you all a happy new year
I have an 03 wrx and during the last week i have noticed twice that i have lost massive amounts of power and it can last a good 15 mins but then it seems to regain all its might.
Is this normal and has any of you got any suggestions.
Thanks in advance MT

To be honest m8 i dont know but i am gonna ring the dealer i bought it from and ask them to check it out, i have also noticed the engine is sounding a little rougth from when i first got it 2 weeks ago so they gonna have to take a serious look at it for me and convince me its fine.

mmm, The general consensus is to only use either V Power or tesco 99 (not tesco super). These cars do not like BP Ultimate, most people report that they run crap and knock like hell with Ultimate.
Hope this helps.
Chris.

The standard WRX will run just fine on SUL 97RON, as that's what it's tuned for. There may be some small performance gains from using VPower, T99, BPU but not using them won't cause your symptoms.
Don't believe the hype, just get your dealer to check it out. If they're stumped, asked them to refer you to a specialist under warranty.

When i had my wrx i always put in 95 and never had any probs whatsoever.
Now i'm in an sti it has always has bp ultimate, again running sweet, but now with a remap v-power religiously.
I can't see it being a fuel type problem. Best get it to the dealer asap and don't boot it.
