Cool

Ihave just parted with a whole grand (my checkbook has had to have a lie down) as deposit for the new STi. This will be my 3rd Scooby and honestly, despite the less agressive looks, I'm looking forward to it. Having driven a 'grey' version I more or less know what to expect.

I am paying less than I did for my MY00 with the full Prodrive works (PP, wheels, brakes, suspension and QS), which makes me think that second-hand values will start to drop. Ah, what the heck, if you want to have real fun it costs real money (the wife can start using the bus ).

congrats m8

i'm tempted but i'm being forced to have a company car so the scoob may have to go - let alone buying a newer more expensive one !

delivery expected when ? have you gone for the standard or prodrive ?

Steve, any time between January and March, and I went for the basic model as the Prodrive version is purely a bad cosmetic makeover (the front looks like someone rivetted a couple of pieces of Armco on the bumper). I'll go for a decent 3rd party spoiler and, apart from a boost gauge, that'll do (I say that, but I know I'll end up hitting the wallet at some point).

Very tempted. What colour have you guys ordered? The blue/black seems to look very good.I've heard that Prodrive will not be selling a PPP for it,anybody heard differently?

I went for the Rally Blue as the darker colours really show up chips and scratches (my DBM MY00 is testiment to that), although the dark blue looks superb. Annoying thing is that its gold wheels whether you like it or not. I'll miss the anthracites I have now as they look good even when dirty.

I'll have a load of bits to dispose of when the MY00 goes - Sti boost guage, STi pedals, STi strut brace, etc. I'll stash the cash to buy some P1 wheels!!

Hi Ken

Long time no see/speak..

Bet you can't wait. I am holding off on ordering at the moment, waiting for a test drive when the dealer gets their first one in. Will make my decision then.

I agree with you on front bumper bits, nice to see we agree on something. Although you know I have a fettish for the gold wheels.

Anyway, if I decide to keep mine a bit longer, can I have first refusal on the strut brace please. What you doing with the PPP, will that go with the car?

Laterz

Simon
