Default How much is my car worth?

JDM WRX STI Version 2
1996
70,000 miles
Full STI forged pistons red top engine
Rebuilt engine by AS Performance in Birtley (8,000 miles ago)
Rebuilt gearbox (3,000 miles ago)
ESL ECU chip to run 98ron (1.1bar)
Apexi SAFC
3" H&S Decat downpipe
Full 3" Blitz NUR spec system

Flamer kit

MRO front styling

Recent front end respray which has been perfectly blended by a professional company (cost £££s!)

So, how much do you think I could ask for it? It really is in immaculate condition, apart from a few stone chips on the doors!

Need some pics to give you a proper estimate.
Colour?

I would say, if it is in excellent condition, 5K

And for those dreamers that say 2.5K, tell them to **** off!
I have yet to see a quality sti of any year, for less than £4.5K!
Plus, you have just had a rebuild.

ChrisPurvis100 thanks, I was hoping around that price!

Others - please be sensible or don't bother replying.

Here are some pictures before the alloys were black and also before the front end respray. Also has Scott Lowe type black flaps now-

If mine is worth £5k - then there is now way on gods green earth that some 5 year older Japanese Import comes close ...................... my opinion is based on secure logic.

And I would RUN away from an engine re-build ....... mine has passed 70,000miles and is running fine

You never know Pete, the previous owner might have actually used the sti for what it was built for........ not getting 37mpg!
Looks very tidy m8. Just sort out the grill badge!

Should get £5 easy pal , if it is good and it does look clean , i spent 4 months looking for my car and saw some nasty cars for 3.5K i paid £4.7k for mine 1996 sti v2 with 70k on it , only got it cheeper cause it needed wheel bearing , if its clean you safe for £5k

Yellow is NOT Pink

Good grief - they would be the very first thing I would remove, were they a special order to attract the ladies to the car? I wonder?

You know damn well that the STI colour is pink. Don't ask me why, I know I wouldn't have chosen it!
But it is an sti, so it does need the pink badges...... it's the law Pete!

rebuilt engine @ 62000 miles, rebuilt gearbox @ 67000 miles, front end respray, and 70000 miles in total. Not had an easy life really has it. Im with PSLewis on this one, 5k in my opinion for a 10yr old car thats had extensive work done is too much to be honest its got a flamer kit as well, it screams out that it has been ragged. I cant see the pictures but I would reckon on about 3.5K to 4K being generous
