Default Cannot beleive my bad luck!!

2 bloody roof tiles have just come off my roof in the wind and landed straight on my spoiler!! Big hole in it and cracked all the way along!! Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a high level sti newage spoiler. Some photo's of them on too would be very helpful. Please help me out on this one cos I'm absolutely gutted and I want to get it sorted asap!

Many thanks in advance

I've got excess of £250 on my car. I dont think its worth a claim to be honest. The going rate seems to be around £400 sprayed and fitted so I'll prob throw it on the credit card!!

Scooby world ready painted...

I worry about this happening all the time as last month I was finding small bits of crap on my car that had blown down from the roof, Luckly they didnt do any damage and just washed off.

The house insurance should cover the cost of the damage

House insurance wont touch the car. I asked and they were'nt interested. Was looking at scoobyworld. Is that £350 delivered?

I would steer you away from a spoiler from revolution. I bought one and the finish on it was shocking, would have taken a good few hours to prep it to get it flat and smooth for spraying. Sorry Revolution but I can only go on my personal experience.

If your house insurance covers the risk then they have to pay. If I were you Id request a claim form and take it from there. Just because someone in a call centre says 'no' doesnt mean that you arent indemnified!

Sorry to hear you wernt happy, i dont want to get in a slanging match or anything like that as your view is your view at the end of the day.

Im a little surpprised we couldnt do anything at the time to help you out.

Although i dont think myself personally delt with your sale ?

If you get in touch when you next purchase something im sure i can arrange a bit of discount or something, please get in touch via P.M or give me a ring some time. ;o)

We have sold hundreds of these on new age cars without any fitment problems, although they do come prime'd i would always say any body shop would re-key over and prep to their own satisfaction.

"Nathanb" if you wanted one i can always supply pics of satisfied local customers cars with our spoiler fitted.

Thanks

most non genuine spoilers come ready primed and are shocking to be honest. out of the bag there usualy full off small holes and and marks from the manufacturing proscess. (this is no slur on the supplier as they are a fraction of the cost of oe and anyone expecting them to be ready for paint are kidding themselvs).no self respecting bodyshop would just paint them as they come but an hour or so can usualy get them to a paintable condition we do lots and they are usualy supplied by the customer and we charge £180 ish to paint and fit (some require more work than others) so i would say £350 deliverd is a bargain

Is the Scooby world spoiler easy to fit? Been thinking of getting one but not sure about drilling holes in my boot. Do you get anything else with the spolier as i've seen other ones advertised recommending torsion or tension bars to help support the extra weight.

Cheers
