Worth the cash or keep looking?
After weeks of looking on several motoring pages and sites i have found a car no less than 3 miles from my house.
its a 2001 Y registered bugeye impreza WRX with 39000 miles. dark blue with the 17 inch wrx alloys in gold. sti exhaust. twin headlamp and grill conversion. full leather interior. service history(not subaru).
he wants 6995 ono. my concern is the car has been sat for 4 weeks and the battery is dead. also he claims to have missed its last service by a thousand miles or so(could be a bit more)but the car has only covered 2000 miles since its mot 8 months ago. am i being overly cautious or have i right to be concered?
i cant view till thursday to really give my opinion on it overall but im weary about him being lapse on that servicing.

If I were you mate, I would look at a car that does have a FSH. When you are spending that sort of money on a car, you would like it to be reliable. Where are you based? Might be worth looking on Auto trader (not trying to teach you to suck eggs mind!!)

If it's missed a service by "a few thousand" that implies it hasn't actually been serviced for 2 years at best. Haggle big style as it will want the lot doing so ask for at least 700 off just for that.
