Well after buying an STI intercooler Y pipe off T'ebay I decided to lag it just for fun! Got myself some high quality insulating mat good for upto 600C and together with stainless steel wire here's what I came up with......

Haven't the foggiest if it will do anything but at least the STI unit will be a big improvement over the standard rubber Johny one

Will try and plumb it all in this week.....
