Question WATER INJECTION AND INLET MANIFOLDS PLESE HELP

I'm thinking of fitting a water injection system to my classic uk turbo year 2000 impreza, could you plese tell me where the injectors are positioned. And could you please tell me what the difference the STI inlet manifold and the standard turbo inlet manifold. I discovered that the inlet manifold fits 180 degrees with the butterfly body at the front could you please tell me if this would work. It would mean i could shorten my front mount intercooler pipe work by a big amount and would surely reduce turbo lag.

I would be greatfull if any of you could tell me if any of this would work?

Thanks merv
