Default coupe classic - info required

Hi,

Hope some of you guys can give me some info.

I am after a Scoobie, but it has to be the classic shape and has to be one of the 2 door models.
The 22b and P1 are awesome but i do not want to spend that kind of money as this will be a second car.

I know the coupe's came in other models, but can anyone help me and tell me what models they were and the difference between them and if possible what you think of them?

Did they come in any particular colours or are they available in any?

Would really appreciate any help you could give.

Thanks for your time.

the other 2 door classics were the type R
all imports and power goes from 280 - 300 bhp
versions 3,4,5 and 6 only.
quite a few different special editions
search fatmanscooby , he has 1 off if not THE BEST around
certainly the cleanest.
colours , sonic blue, white, black, steel grey, silver. and a few in yellow

As above. V3 was old dash. You'd want v4-6. V5/6 Have nicer seats and a phase 2 rear thrust engine and a vf28 turbo and facelift front bumper and crystal headlights. My advise V5/6 for the better extras, looks and performance

Type R sti v5/6 is the one i want .. how much am i expected to pay, what would be a fair price? I know they vary car to car but any common problems on these cars i should be aware off?

make sure it's mapped for UK fuel for starters the v5/6 can be tek3'd which is easier, most already have been mapped for it but just make sure.

price wise . anything from 7.5k upwards , check the for sale section or autotrader .
