Just been checking the times for this on sunday and it shows no sign of showing the WRC!

Anyone else know more about this, i will be devastated if they aren't showing this season at all!

British Eurosport Tuesday @ 2200 hrs is the best coverage for an hour.

yep ITV have managed to relegate WRC to a channel that most people don't have or watch since taking it over from CH4

thanks ITV

they did the same with the BTCC series when taking it over from the BBC

 

I have set my Sky+ to record all Eurosport coverage but i am expecting this to be bolloxed up by over running tennis
ITV coverage gets gradually worse every year.
So much for David Richards wanting to increase the profile of the sport in this country.

I usually Sky+ the program either side of the WRC in the hope you get to see it with Eurosport.

 

itv's coverage last season was abysmal , it really pi**ed me off how bad it was , in fact i stopped watching !!

I think the tennis is live after midnight, unlike the snooker messing with the Daker

 

pathetic coverage, soemone should buy the rights from itv if they have got them?

 

I thought the TV coverage was on the way up.

There was one year where they had split time stages filmed, very good, got breakdown on split times.

Also, big names buying it, saying it will increase the profile etc. But it's got worse, now it's not even shown on non-digi channels. Poor!

 

Eurosport were supposed to be showing the WRC at 4pm today according to their own website but instead they showed snooker Why don't Eurosport stick to their schedule

 

I really wish we got Motors TV on NTL. I remember a few years ago when we had it on Sky and the BTCC and Rally coverage was fantastic.

No wonder ITV is going down the pan. It'll soon be asking for some of the licence money to prop itself up.

Shame Motors TV dont show the WRC events, probably too expensive for them to compete against the likes of ITV.

Note to all Sky+ etc. users; having been totally f'ed off with Eurosport last season (to the extent of emailing them about it; I never email to complain, but I was like Mary Whitehouse on this one!)...

Make sure you set it to record the next programme (or two) to allow for overruns!

 

Glad this subject was brought up. I to was wondering when the coverage was. Bl00dy ITV. I really thought that when they bought the rights they would have done good coverage, just like F1.
Now, just like Channel 4 before them they relegated it to after midnight, and they really spoiled it by getting that woman to commentate over it. I say commentate, more like read straight from a script ............ poorly.

Instead of showing the WRC on a Sunday afternoon tomorrow, they have "Skating on ice" (Yawn) followed by that classic film that we'll all be tuning in for "Stop or my momma will shoot"

yeah it was great when Robbie head and John and Angus were doing it then the woman took over and a few things she said were incorrect, apart from boring the **** off you!

Dave Richards - sort this out please for the good of the sport, its a mint sport, its just not given enough coverage, nobody knows of the WRC! plain and simple!
