very nice mate, thinking on fitting one myself before summer comes, do you need a re-map or anything after it is fitted?

Mine is going to be remapped anyway this is the reason for me doing the most mods i can before it goes in, this way everthing will get dialed in together,

I got mine off ebay for £215 all in, yes it was a pain to fit but not imposible, took me 12 hours and i did not rush main problems

1. Screws on the bumper stuck had to cut off ( no fault of the fmic)
2. threads in the car that the fmic fit to , needed a tap through them, ( no fault of the fmic)
3. re routing the wires and pipes that some one had pull tied in the wrong place before,( no fault of the fmic)
4.cutting the bumper ( no fault of the fmic)

and a few other little bit that took up my time, have to say non of them where related to the quality of the kit, for £215 i think its a bargain,

The people who slag off ebay ones for £200 - £300 are probably the same people who moan about big brake kits that are only £600 instead of £1600, or brake pads that are £30 instead of £130. If you've spent too much and have a niggling feeling that you made a mistake or could have spent it better elsewhere - which we've all done ourselves - you've got to justify the battering your pocket took somehow. Easiest way is to make out that cheap alternatives to what you paid a fortune for are somehow no good. Intercooler building isn't rocket science and there's no need to pay more than £300 nowadays for a FMIC. IMHO

To be fare the cooler it self is A1 and looks and feels the same quality as my mates HKS , the rest is just 65mm pipe work! Ok so my mates went on trouble free and mine took a bit of effort , but mine is £500 cheeper than his, thats quite a bit for a days work, and even his took 6 hrs, sum it up save ya self £500 and work another 6 hrs,(i did take my time ie: stoppted for dinner and the odd chat from me mates) alot slag off cheep items, cause they are gutted they paid so much for the same thing
