This is NOT trying to reopen the debate on which people feel is the better car.Just wondering how many current Scooby owners are going to take the plunge with the new Sti and how many are going to switch to the Evo(Before anybody else says it I know I should get out more!)

I own a new STI7 and its much better than the STI5 I had faster and better handling and in the rain p.sses on an evo 7.Better finnished too.
Don't start a long debate just trust me it has been proven.

Surely not alternatives?? Here in Italy the STI7 will be about € 36,000 with the Evo7 costing a steep € 45,000. Let's also not forget a new M3 for € 55,000 then.
If I sort out my new job I'll have an STI7 in Feb\March, but the Evo is to steep and not worth € 9,000 (£6000) over the sti imho.

Ordered my road rocket in September, eagerly awaiting delivery in Jan. Blue Black Mica, not the Prodrive version.
I think the new front grill on the regular STI gives a whole new look to the WRX, the grill's got a bit of an angle, making the front end a bit pointer, if you get what I mean. I'm rambling

Should take delivery of mine around Xmas time.
Have ordered a full Scoobysport exhaust system with sensor (to stop engine check light coming on)and high rear spoiler and fitting Unichip and EVC.
Nice shade of silver.
Drove one a couple of months back at Warrender along side an Evo 7 and much preferred the STi.

I get my STI7 WR Blue (couldn't handle washing the Blue/Black - though I think its the best!) next week!
No Prodrive option in Aus.
Anyone want to buy my old WRX? http://users.bigpond.net.au/adam_bradley/index.html

STi 7 All the way...
I'm picking mine up in New Zealand next week. Dealer supplied *not grey import*, full japanese spec with full warranty!
All for only 69,995 NZD on the road (or about 20,300 GBP)... and the insurance is only 850 NZD/246 GBP per year fully comp!
Looked at the Mitsi EVO VII, but the fuel tank is too small, the interior too boring and it doesn't have a six speed gearbox (plus it costs more than the STi in NZ)
