Calling all Sport owners - I'm running out of ideas on how to increase performance without taking the engine to bits. If anyone has any ideas/past experience on how to get the best out of the wee beast, let me know!! At the minute, mines got a powerflow cat-back system, pipercross induction kit, FSE fuel pump, ecotek valve, splitfire plugs and the all important scoop for that cold dense air! The engines got bags of potential, it's just a case of getting to it!!! If anyones had theres rolling road tested, let me know the figures....
Cheers and happy motoring!!!

Yea sports rule
The thing is it wont go any faster than 132, due to gearing
How much for your xaust matey, my ss cost 334.
Just as a mater of interest how much bhp do you think you are puting out. "Engine management upgrade puts it too 150 bhp"

It sounds like the good old Sport is a growing speciality so to speak!!! To answer a couple of the questions, the pipercross is the standard cone shape but I can't remember the diametre...anyway, it goes straight on where the air box is - just take out the entire air box but leave the ducting so you can mod a forced air pipe to it if you haven't a vented bonnet. You'll also need to buy additional breathers (Qty 3) for the pipes that join the air box - give Andy a bell at Powerzone, tel 01282 724427, and mention the red Scooby Sport, he should be able to bring up the ones that I purchased for mine.
BHP wise, I had it RR at Well Lane and it was knocking out around 142 but the torque was very constant through out the whole rev range. I've been informed by an Impreza dealer that by fitting a new down pipe would probably release another 10-15 bhp...food for thought!!! I recently did a 0-60, and timed it at aprox 7.11 - either a fluke or I'm doing something right.
Lets get the Sports some recognition - I'll drink to them!
