Question

All,

Have any of you got a second car that has been separately insured, or even better, a two car policy from a broker? I'm thinking about having a second car, and have been given some silly quotes. Of course I can only use my NCB on one vehicle, and I understand that. However, there must be a company that would run a limited mileage policy on a second vehicle at a reduced rate.

Any ideas?

Matt

Lee at A-Plan 0845 0711234 has done such a deal on my girlfriends VW polo and Suzuki Cappuccino. Worth a call... Good price too. Wanted another £120 to add me as a named driver to the Cappo though

I have my NCD allowed on all my cars by using the same underwriter and asking them to place links between policies. This way any claim against one car would be flagged on all policies and any loss of NCD would apply to all.
