I'm saving my pennies and I'm hoping in the next couple of months to buy and fit a Z32 MAF, Apexi Power Intake and most importantly a group buy FMIC. This is mainly because of high charge temps last summer, and intake mods I've done recently have maxed out my MAF, so I'm on a lower boost setting at the moment for safety to keep it all under 1.4 bar. It should work out that I can claw back some of the money by selling my TMIC, existing MAF sensor, panel filter, airbox etc. Then I will also need a remap again.

I'm also planning a trip to the 'Ring in May which will probably end up costing £500 to be on the safe side. I'm seriously getting 'Ring fever again after not having been for a couple of years.

But it may turn out that I have to make a choice between one or the other if money gets tight: go the modding route getting the car mapped to tie up all the mods I've done over the last few months; or go to the Ring with it running lowish boost and a TMIC...

What would you do? Making more money out of thin air and doing both may not be an option... Cheers!

 

Modding, the rings always gona be there, your scoobs not! Go for the mod, then save up and go later!!

Mods as the ring will only put a temporary smile on your face, where as the mods to you car will put a smile on your face everytime you drive the car!

LOL I don't use them! I save up for everything, hence I have to make these decisions to have one thing or the other, rather than both.

 

Do the mods to your car first & then save to go to the Ring with a sorted car next year....

I think I've got it figured out. Sell everything I own apart from my car and do both.

Still though, I dont see why people dont take advantage of credit! It owns, it lets you have what you want, when you want/need it! Aslong as you dont take the ****, then your winning.
