Default Inspection necessary when buying from Proven Scheme?

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a MY03/04 wrx in March and I intend buying off main dealers from the "Proven" used Subaru scheme. Would an inspection be necessary if buying a car off this scheme since they come under warranty and have supposedly been checked out already by Subaru?

Thanks in advance

Trust a scooby stealer? Never!

On a serious note I bought my car from a subaru dealer specifically because I knew I would have comeback if I had any problems, and that warranty was reassuring although I didn't have to claim.

If you're not going to get it inspected take someone with you who has a good idea what they're doing and don't be afraid to ask for things to be fixed. My car had a big crack in one headlight and you've no idea what a fuss I had to make to get them to put a new one in.

Good luck!

Matt
