Default Spec D questions

Hi All,

Just a couple of questions on the Spec D

Are they doing an 07 version, or was this just a one off for 06.

Would you say £24,000 for a new 06 one was a good price, list is £28,500, or is it just not worth the extra.

Couldn't really see any major changes between an MY06 and MY07 anyway, so don't worry about that issue.

There are a few around for 23k with very low miles (i.e del miles). Shop around is my advice.

Thanks for the info guys.

I have been looking around, but this one was a bit diffrent, as it was brand new and sitting in the show room.

Are they worth the extra? I have an MY05 SL so had been looking at changing to the same. Then I saw this one @ Webbers, and thought it might be worth a look.

I am not sure I am necessarily the best person to answer this, but at the time last September, the Spec D seemed to be the best place to start to end up with the car I wanted..... The extras seemed worth it over a normal Sti, amd having had a WR1 I wanted something different to replace it when it got stolen.

They are not as far as I am aware doing an 07 version.

This is the end result.....

340bhp and 450 NM of torque as well

Wasn't the point of the Spec D that it didn't have huge spoilers and splitters

My local dealers offered me a brand new unregistered model for about £25,000 in early December. That included a PPP and as far as i know they still have it for sale. PM me if you would like any details.

Thanks for the feed back. Sorry for not posting sooner had problems with my ISP.

Its the fact that its the next step up from the SL, but still has the SL extras, that I liked.

Performance wise its the same as the STI so plenty enough for me. Was just wondering if the extras made it just a posh STI, or were realy worth that couple of K more.

Thanks once again for the info
