do you have this habbit

The law is from sign to sign.
As you enter a 60 from a 30, then you are permitted to build up speed to 60.. but not before the sign.
As you enter a 30 from a 60, you must have slowed down to 30 by the time you have reached the sign.
I would be very suprised if many actually done this though... and the positioning of the signs allow for this within limits.

If the gun was inside a cat you have no worries

Lots of people have this habit ...........
Summer, dry and bright and a straight piece of road. I was stationary (for about 30 seconds) waiting for a gap in the oncoming traffic in a 30mph zone with my foot ON the brake pedal indicating right. About 5m in front of me was a National Speed Limit sign.
The to$$er that drove straight into the back of me, was too busy looking at the NSL sign and "NAILING IT" to notice me!!
Hospitalised, back and neck damaged and numerous trips tp physio.
Not just me either ..........
I was turning right into the business estate where I work when it happened. On average the same thing happens about every 4 weeks. Last time was very serious and ended up with the air ambulance attending.
Food for thought.
