need to make a choice on a scooby, do i go for a nice low milage 03/53 sti with a ppp pack for around 14k or a 04/54 sti without ppp for around 15k?
is the extra 1k and less power worth rear arch extensions and diffrent centre console?

Does the 54 have DCCD??, or is that a 05 Mod??, i'd shop around and get my05.a few for about 15-16k if you look far enough

The main Difference is that MY05 cars had DCCD fitted, there is another couple of diffrences, arches and rack i think???, do a search mate or someone will be along shortly with more knowledge than me.

Depends if you want the DCCD, as mentioned above. If you do, then no option, go for the late 54 model.

I would choose that one anyway. It has still lost most of it's depreciation and although the PPP would be nice if it had it on the car, there are much better alternatives available for better power/less money.

Very little differences in the MY03 to MY04 so would go for the PPP 03 over 04, but would go for the MY05 as handles much better than both IMHO

How much Warranty is left on an MY03 ?? would be tempted to to go for a JDM which MY03/04 sti's had has Twinscoll turbo, DCCD HId's etc

if you are a serious buyer shop around m8 ,
i just let my 54 plate sti ppp go for 14k private and it was in excellent condition.
too many dreamers, timewasters and stealers out there so i dropped from 15k to 14k for a geniuine enthusiast with cash.
