Hi

I have recently had a P1 splitter fitted to my car and i also know it needs lowering.

The thing is, i am scared of hitting speed bumps, low kerbs etc and was wondering how low other people with P1 splitters have lowered their cars and what their experiences are with hitting stuff with it.

I am thinking of lowering by around 30-35mm.

Hey up dan!

I had the same worry myself with the prodrive springs and scott lowe front splitter,no issues on speedhump's even when straggling the centre road ones,the only problem i found is mounting curbs to park outside the house,so i now just reverse on.

The prodrive springs drop the sti 25-30 mm at the front,add another 15-20mm of drop from the splitter,it gets close sometime

dont have a prob with my P1 on speed bumps, but like today a gave one corner a scrape on a curb when parking

Have a P1 front splitter and lowered approx 30mm. No probs with speed humps or mounting kerbs, just dont do it mega fast !

Don't worry about speedbumps,mine was shattered by a bloody rabbit commiting hari kari.
My advice, raise the car about 8 inches

I wont worry about lowering when the time comes then.
