Default pipe work temps help.....

..hi can anyone identify this pipe and tell me if it gets hot or not?!! i have just put in the piaa horns but it is touching this pip and as it is plastic outer case i dont want it to melt!!

its the metal section in the middle. on a MY00 classic turbo. just front left of battery/horn it comes from radiator to top of engine, and has a green screw top cap at one point with an 'H' on it (not in pic).

if anyone can let me know if this pipes heats id be grateful, obviously i could run the engine, but id rather find out before i melt the horn!!

cheers

I presume it gets hot with it being metal,

try running it for a few minutes, see if you notice a difference in temp, then if it gets warmer, you know it heats up proportionally to the water temp!
