I don't think they actually made money out of it. They had trouble with Hannah Barbera (sp) over the use of the word "Scooby" so they had to re-print the magazine but I think Hannah Barbera still weren't happy and they ran out of money to print it again.

yeah, there were numerous threads about its demise and quite a few strong feelings were expressed, which is entirely understandable under the circumstances.
I had my subscription lost as well, but at the end of the day, just have to put it down to bad luck and mark it up in the file named...bugger !!

Apparently the previous owner of my car was on good terms with the editors and so it appears quite a few times in the mag.... just a shame I've never seen it

There is a Scooby mag, Subiesport: 60,000 readers in 45 countries... and counting.

When you select the 'ship to' on the order page it will show the subscription rate.

Just just sent our 15th issue to press... every issue has shipped (more or les) on time. Most current one (April) is 100 pages with big sections devoted to the science of turbocharging and WRC.

We are looking for talented shooters and writers that can cover cars in the UK and the surrounding areas. If you think that's you, send samples to travis@subiesport.com

If Scooby Magazine got in trouble from Hannah B... Then why aren't other companies not getting sued? Like ScoobyWorld or even Scoobynet...

It was a independant person that told me that.

IMO having a business go under does not make you a crook, just unlucky

I doubt you'll ever find out the truth..

Having the business go under is one thing, but not refunding subs is another. And not letting us know anything is scandalous.

from what i saw it maybe could have been handled better, yes.

But if its gone under and all the money has gone where do the refunds come from?

Don't cost a thing to email subscribers... Or a courteous amount to post a letter?

First you know is that you don't have a copy for 2 months.
