Does anyone know much about the evo fq-320
raced one today and he couldnt beat me.

 

they are quick motors thats for sure ! .......

 

If the race was on a public road the result is more often determined by driver skill or stupidity (ie how fast you are prepared to go around a blind corner).

Fq320 is a little quicker in straight line i would have thought btw, just a little...

 

If it was an Evo IX, they have 326 bhp, 0-60 in 4.4 and 157 top end. The Evo VIII was similar apart from 0-60 was 4.7.

Probably down to driver skill....and seems you have it. Top Man!

 

Looking at your car with that spec you must be in the region of 310-320
Hardly a suprise.

 

ive owned both types of cars and currewntly have a 555 sti that is very quick (300bhp easily) and in my opinion it will take a 330-340 impreza to beat a 300 evo.. they pull from 2500 as if no lag at all ! just full power all the way !! so i would say, driver skill or he wasnt trying.. this is an unbias view.

 

There must be half a dozen threads like this in the first 2 pages of this section. It's getting worse all the time
