Default stutter problem

hi, on my 04 sti ppp it offen stutters especially when going into a roundabout, once on boost it feels fine, subaru says its fine but l would rather believe some one who owns one, not impressed with garage, also when l change up the rev needle increases slightly, feels like you are late lifting your foot of the gas peddle, they couldnt tell me if this is normal or not and will have to take out another sti and see if it does it. my warrantee runs out soon, so l want these sorted, can you help with any advice
