Get some pics up. Hopefully by the end of the night I might be the owner of an 03 Spec C V-limited. Fingers crossed. Immy from PCM is on the hunt for one from Japan.

Glad you like it. What bhp are they, and are they two door?
Also, how did you get 270bhp from a UK PPP?
Sorry for the questions.

The Ra is a very good move and cant wait , beats the pants off the GTR 0-60

The main problem with the GTR was the running costs at 18mpg and the nearest specialist was RB Motorsport...

Ads and Kev will be happy at the clinic ha ha

ur Ra is looking sooo sweet glad she went to u and not some 17 yr old who would wrapped it within a month , keep ur thread updated with the front mount and have you listed a full spec sheet yet ?

C u at the pod this summer H

Hey anybody going on 11th march to rwyb @ Elvington?

Good choice of machine.

The gearing (short) makes it feel more powerful than it is.

Had it two days now and love it BUT:

The engine gets realy hot and i can smell it when i get out of the car. When i was waiting at the lights i noticed smoke coming out of the engine, turbo side. I have watched for this again and have not noticed just the hot engine should i be worried. The coolent was low and took a 1ltr bottle to fill could that have been the problem.
Thanks Neil

The "smoke" could be steam from water evaporating as it hits the manifold from a leak. Check the radiator's not cracked on the end, and keep an eye on the fluid levels for a while.

Could also be a leaking rocker cover gasket on the drivers side. I had the same problem when I first got my car.

I think you mean a limited Phil they didnt make any v-limiteds in 2003, though there was a v-limited in 2004 but that wasnt a spec c.

I had a water leak on my RA and it was a trickle coming from the base of the header tank. Took ages to find out where it was coming from, but it would drop down onto the up-pipe area and you'd see steam every now and again coming from the turbo side of the bonnet

The 04 model is a v-limited. I take it Immy knows what he is talking about as he is importing it for me.

The 04 v-ltds are not spec c's, they are standard STi's with the roof vent

Just Sport

About 55% of the way down this list is a JDM STi V-Ltd, nice pics of it, got a good look at 2 of these when they came into the country biggest givaway is that pic of a spoiler, there is no engine oil cooler and it has a rear wash wipe which no spec c (even special editions) come with and there aint no ariel on the drivers side pillar
Still, its a rare car, only 3-4 in the country

Tony
