Hello,
let me start by introducing myself: I am Cyr and I am a huge Belgian Subaru fan. At home we drive a Legacy MY05 and a Legacy MY91 (with 266.000km
). Since a few months I started to work in Amsterdam, to move to Brussels in a few months from now.
For the moment we are looking into the possibility to import an Impreza from the UK. Legally etc. it is doable but after surfing on the net and finding more information on this forum I'm beginning to hesitate.
At first I was convinced I was going to buy a P1.
But after reading some comments, I think a Type R is the better option. It has the best driving specs? What does this forum community think about this? Do you have more tips, information etc.?
Thank you very much
Cheers

Which one is best will depend on what you want to use it for IMHO. Put simply, daily driver = P1, track toy = Type R.
If you want more information on the P1 try www.p1woc.co.uk ... lots of friendly members who aren't to precious to admit the pros and cons of owning a P1.

when talking about P1 or type R the type of use is important as the gear ratios are quite different. if you intend on long distances the P1 might suit better.
