Anyone know why some Subaru WRC's have "555" down the side of them ? I only found out last night when I got some free in a promotion !

As far as i'm aware, they were the subaru WRC team major sponsor in the early days.

.. and 555 is normally substituted for the 3 ))) in the logo on the side. i think this may have something to do with tobacco advertising.

rumour has it they have a narcotic content.

I believe that British American Tobacco withdrew their sponsorship of the Subaru WRC cars in favour of Formula 1 a few years ago. Bad choice

Incidentally, tried of 'em 555 **** yesterday. Quite smooth, ok.

Agreed Miles. Got some free by some promotional babes on Friday night. I knew I recognised the "555" from somewhere and then saw a picky of WRC with it on.
Nice ciggies though. But don't smoke children its bad for you !
