Bye Bye Subaru Ownership.

Bye Bye Subaru Ownership.
Well after a little over two years of ownership and two cars (wrx bug & Sti PPP Blob) its time to say goodbye. I seem to have lost my enthusiasm for the Impreza and all the costs and attention
that go with it.
I have enjoyed both cars and will no doubt return to the brand in a couple of years, hopefully in a Hawkeye STI.
In the mean time i am making do with my latest motor, an Audi S3 which i have bought off a mate who is off to the States for a couple of years.
Already Aplan have confirmed a refund on my policy as the Audi is a lot cheaper to insure
No more tracker subs, no more Vpower and no more high service costs (local Audi specialists).
The big downside was my seven year old boy who cried last night because he loves the Impreza
Quick trip to Toys R Us today sorted that out
Thanks for all the advice received in the past
Nik.

Audi s3 ...nice car , you can easily get it mapped to over 260bhp without stressing it too much try AMD . I'm sure you'll be back to a Scoob at some point though
enjoy

Still going to Elvington, got my ticket on order
Just hope the sight of all the Impreza's lined up doesn't fill me with regret
I'm sure i'll be back in a Subaru at some point
Got to, got that many T shirts, jackets, hats etc i will look daft in something else for too long.
Must remember to visit the Shell garage and say my goodbyes or is it

Good luk with the Audi - I'm sure you'll appreciate the teutonic "hewn from stone" build quality.

My sons reaction to the news did make me rethink but one day he will understand.
I must admit i am looking forward to getting back in a car with a little class, no disrespect to Subaru of course but i'm sure you know what i mean.
Going out this afternoon to get a few farewell pics.
Roll on Friday.
