Local Garage---Good or Bad!!!
I found this site, it's worth a look, the idea is that you can post reviews, good or bad about local garages and services for others to read and help them decide which garage or paintshop to use.
Input you postcode and how far you are willing to travel and you get a list of all garages etc and reviews about them.
At the moment the site is new, but your input can help it to work for everyone's benefit

great idea, I was working on a similar idea a couple of years ago but the contract fell through at the last minute.. doh!
Good luck, should be a valuable resource in the future!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say that you are quite right, not every garage is listed at the moment. Unfortunately to licence this kind of data (e.g. from Yellow Pages or Thompson Directories) costs thousands of pounds per year, which is way beyond my means. So we've got the best data we can, but rely on users to tell us if there are any garages missing
It's early days at the moment but I hope the site will become a useful resource once there are a few more reviews.
Cheers
