Would you do a trackday with a tyre that has had a puncture repair?

Anyone ever done the above

I was going to change both tyres, but there as good as new.
Am not sure i want to risk it, i would rather just spend a couple hundred quid but was curious to see if anyone has ever done a trackday with a puncture repair

 

to be honest i would o fthought it was fine, the tyre was probaly pushed to its max on th eroad anyway,but hey, change if ur not happy,simple !

 

Done trackdays on my bikes with repaired tyres and did the same last year at The 'Ring with a repaired tyre on the Wrx,no problems.
Just ask around who's got a good rep locally.
Would stay away from the spotty 19yr old YTS at your local national tyre shops.

 

Yeah, did two on the same RE070 with a repair without incident. Did put it on the back though so it was under less stress

If i didn't trust a tyre for a trackday then there is no way i would trust it on the pothole heaven that is the queens highway
