can you explain why the thread was moved/closed?

I was just looking for it to see if the security issues had been resolved and if moray had been reinstated, and I found it closed (or moved to muppet - cant tell?)

Dont understand why this was done. Granted I approached the subject in a jokey way but it was as serious issue. Perhasp someone can confirm if the security issues exist or not, and more importantly I wanted to see Moray back in place where he should be.

 

anyone seen a post from moay with blue writing for his name, that would answer at least one question.

Perhaps stef, shaun or sdb could comment on the security aspect?

The thread was never moved or deleted, just locked.

It was locked because it sounded like it belonged in the muppet forum with a title like that, but I saw the thread escalating into something totally off the wall.

You must admit, that with the thread title and the kind of responses it received, it was going no where.

I assumed it was a joke and treated it as such.

As regards to the possible security breach............

As fas as I know, it looked like it was a possible case of somebody using or accessing Moray cookies on his machine. SDB was checking out the IP addresses with the relevant companys. All this is yet to be confirmed.
