Default Courtesy Cars - Best and Worst

I took my scoob in for a service this morning and had a courtesy car all lined up. The guys at subaru managed to give my car to someone else, i think it was a fiesta or something along those lines so all they had left was a new scoob. There was me thinking that it might be a nice new wrx or even a 2.0 but oh no - i got a 1.5 wagon R. I didnt realise they did anything below 2.0. Its nice to drive but lacks well..... power!

Just wondering whats the best and worst courtesy cars you've ever had?

Worst - Justy Best - Forester with heated seats, ideal for that particular winter morning! Last year when on holiday in the States I booked an economy hire car when ordering I was told it would be a PT Cruiser, but when I picked it up it was a 2.7 V6 300C Economy car........

Someone crashed into the back of my Volvo 850 T5-R and scratched the back bumper (you cant beat Volvo's ) while completely destroying the front of his car.

Anyway i left them my 2.3l Turbo machine and was given a Ford KAK 1.0l for 3 days. The worst thing i have ever driven !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst I got was putting my Honda S2000 in and coming out with a 1.0 corsa with a flappy gearbox thing!! It was so sh*t and so slow. What really impressed me was that if you took the Corsa from idle to the redline in neutral I'd say the S2000 could get from idle to its red-line (higher as well) quicker in 1st gear. Even with no load it took the engine an age to acknowledge that you'd opened the throttle and forever to climb through the rev range!

Just handed one of these back myself on Monday (a 1.0),it had 62 miles on it when it was dropped off,it went back with 835 (gentle )miles on it..........but i have to say,i didn't notice much difference in performance between it and my STI PPP..............it's amazing how courtesy cars always go better than your own !!

Worst
Vauxhall Corsa 1.0
It was that gutless and noisy I thought the exhaust was knackered until the mechanic explained that they only have three cylinders.

Best
Brand new Peugot 307 1.4 (still gutless but a nice drive)
