Default Availability of V-Power in Europe?

On previous trips to the continent I've noticed 100 octane V-Power on sale at some Shell stations, although it seemed most easily found around the Eifel area near the 'Ring. My question is, to those of you who travel around Europe regularly, how common a find is it? I'm not a big fan of octane booster, and with a few European trips and a Power FC remap due soon anyway, I'm wondering whether I might be better off mapping for 95 octane unleaded that I can pick up anywhere, if getting hold of 99+ octane fuel is going to be tricky.

Cheers!

You can get it at pretty much all the Shell stations around Germany, but failing that you can get ARAL/BP Ultimate which is also 100ron. ARAL Stations are light Blue.

The funny thing is, BP own ARAL and the 100 Ultimate we get here runs rings round the BP Ultimate crap you get in the UK.

Shell V-power and BP Ultimate are freely available (and cheap) all through Spain and not just on the autovías. Used to diesel the van up with Ultimate every time

It's pretty commonplace in France too, althought it is expensive. There's also other companies such as Total who do their own brand high octane fuel

When I drove through france/belgium and holland, 95% of garages are SHELL anyway, so winner

Every garage stocked v-power, and even in one I had to ask what country I was in lol - They looked very puzzled and replied with a faint "errr Belgium?"

LOL great stuff, many thanks. I'll keep it mapped for V-Power then, our UK 99 octane kind, that way it'll be fine on continental stuff.
