I thought it was pretty shallow really, all I learnt from it was that if you drive for a factory team they fek your chances up by choosing tyres for you!
I was expecting a lot more service area stuff and less in car footage, pretty dissapointed really, I hope it gets better.

I enjoyed it, very interesting, series link already plumbed in ready to record the next exciting installment
Nice to see the difference in a £38.000 car compared to £630.000 car

I really enjoyed the programme, it was interesting to see that the drivers don`t get as much input on tyre choice as you would think as it was Dave Lapworth that made the final decisions.
It was also interesting to watch Petter Solberg working on his car where a camera relayed the pictures back to the Subaru technical centre and they guided him through what to do.
It was funny to watch Louis Moya sneaking about finding out what tyres everyone else was using , i didn`t even realise he was working with Subaru.

I think you'll find, if you watch it closely, that the technical bods were looking at photos off their laptops of what petter should be doing, not what he was actually doing in the engine bay.

Saw it enjoyed it but do take on board that it wasn't that engineering based.
Possibly they don't want to give too much away on how they work, development etc.
I know it was last season but you know what these race and rally teams seem to be like...... sooooo secretive.
Will certainly watch the rest of the programmes

agree - i was lucky enough to go behind the scenes on last years Rally GB. I got to look inside all the monitoring and TV trucks and see how amongst other things how they track and monitor the cars live and choose camera footage. I would like to see a bit more of this.
I was standing alongside the camerman in the shot where petter was being interviewed in the Subaru service area in Monte.
