Any chance you add a NSFW tag onto the thread title for those of us who are in work right now.

I just went to view the vid and had the firewall set off all kinds of alerts of '**** this and that', 'forbidden' etc

I didn't see anything in fact other than the firewall warning screen basically telling that the content was of a pornographic nature.

Will view when I get home

There should be some sort of penalty/inquiry for competitors who hit spectators and drive off as if nothing happened like in that particular inccident. I know all motorsports carry the obligatory "motorsport is dangerous" disclaimer, but there is still a duty of care to ensure nobody is left seriously hurt or in a life threatening condition....

Does this still apply if you're in a 'red' area?
Not that I agree with the driving off but surely stood on the outside of a hairpin (red area) is endangering yourself?

What a load old bollox

There shoulds be a penalty in place for ********* stupid enough to obstruct the run off areas of hairpins at the end of descents

Oh, I forgot, there is, it's called getting hit by a rally car

He is a bit of ***** for driving off but your pretty stupid if you stood there in the first place!! The marshalls should of picked this up and asked them to move.

Oh and the **** works fine on my computer but it does throw up an error message about things running really slow

Surely he's right to carry on? He's not exactly a medic so can't do anything and there are plenty of marshalls around to get help etc. He is in a race against time and i'd have carried on too!

What else could he do. People shouldn't have been standing there in the first place- muppets - their own fault !!!!! I'm sure he's not medically skilled etc. etc.

Yes of course the health of the spectators is more important than the race, but in this instance, I'm with the 'carry on' crew. What could they have done - apologised? If there weren't dozens of other spectators, and marshals about, I'm sure he'd (she'd) have stopped.

I once saw a similar thing many moons ago but the car stopped, a couple of people who had been hit then took it out on the driver and his car, was a very nasty situation. I dont think its right to just drive off though - atleast stop and use the car radio set to get help etc.

Wow, does your intellect stretch to the point where you can put foward an argument without resorting to gutter language and sarcasm? Not exactly giving you any favours towards highlighting your point LOL.

I disagree with that point of view I'm afraid old chap

If those hit by the car had been blessed with the ability to use their brains, they wouldn't have put themselves in a position to have been injured in the first place

How's that I fear the remaining sarcasm may still offend your delicate sensibilities

In this country this is the job of the marshals and every rally i have been to they have done a good
I never stand on the outside of any bend no matter how fast or slow the corner is.
Touch wood, i have never even come close to being hit, flying stones however is a different matter.
For the record i would suspect 99.9% of competing drivers would have also carried on and left the casualties for the marshals to deal with.
Nik.
