PAH!! P1's - Donnington - Not Happy...

Well said Rum! Wake up and smell the grass Subaru - don't destroy everything you have achieved in the last 7/8 years. This weekend would have been the obvious choice. Is it too late for some hospitality in Wales?
John
Enjoying P1 a lot despite the wait/problems.

Check my post on the P1 Day at Donington Thread...
BTW, Rally GB hospitality is a Prodrive concern, not Subaru UK's, so don't expect anything there...
Anyway everybody at SUK is in Rio de Janiero for a dealer jolly...

Hi Rum, Bloody well said M8. I wonder how the residuals are doing on the P1 seeing as how SUK are still trying to offload! Not that it worries me of course its the most thrilling and enjoyable car I've ever owned. The absolute B*****ks

Hi Rum
I was in a slightly different boat in that I specified September delivery for my P1, so it was one of the last.
However, I do feel that the Subaru dealers did play on the emotion side an awful lot.
If we treated our customers this same way, they would bugger off and buy elsewhere.
Knowing how attached that people got to the fact they were getting a P1, I feel sure Subaru were able to push the situation further than anyone else could. Anyone else would have needed to compensate customers for such lengthy and unexplainable delays.
Regards
Kurt
