I'd have thought the MOT question was an easy one to answer ...... Put a cat back on it so it passes

Sorry I dont know the answer to that one.

With regards to the re-map I would suggest that with an exhaust change of this kind a re-map would be required to get the best out of the car.

What part of the country are you from?

Bob Rawle is well respected down south. Richard Bulmer did mine and made an excellent job of it.

I'm no technical expert but I would suggest that a re-map will solve your problem.

Bob frequents this place and will be able to help you i'm sure.

You have also got Zak at Mocom Racing in Essex.

He has done alot of work on cars from here.

Here is a thread with some of the praise.

I think what you're experiencing is termed 'overboost'. Not unusually when fitting a decat downpipe to a newage without a remap. Push it any further and you may find you get a fuel cut and you head bounces off the steering wheel and the cossie ends up in your ar$e. Remap is the answer.

First Ecutek map is usually in the region of 650 as you have a fee to pay for the ecutek license. Jolly Green Monster does non-Ecutek mapping I believe so of course the license fee wouldnt apply making it around half the price I should imagine.
