As much as I love my STi, having driven my sons EVO IX I have to say I would swop!

PS What a bunch of cowboys - you don't do full chat gearchanges on the rollers!

 

Never mind the car, I wouldn't fancy the bill for fixing and recalibrating the rollers if they are given that sort of abuse on a regular basis

 

I thought that but couldn't be too sure.

Looks like launch control to me. You can hear it just before he sets off, like a deep crackling noise. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me though

 

it was the carbon breaking loose in the pipe.... not harmful,

it it make that noise because it had anti lag..... great for performance, terrible for turbos.

and it jolted to start because it has launch control, all functions of an advanced aftermarket ECU
