Default Dodgy car dealers and dodgy cars.

Went to look at an Impreza last month. Mentioned on here how bad the condition of the repair was.

Looking on the auction site today and the same car is on there but with a different spoiler and wheels - I suspect to hide its original appearance or to make it more attractive.

The price has also gone up by a couple of grand.

I'm not a car mechanic but IMO the car is shagged. Would you bother mentioning it to those who deal with these sorts of things or not? My issue is that, like me, a family man may go and buy this car and subsequently be in an accident with family in the car and due to the cars condition life is lost.

From experience of my own little bash a few years ago... It's possible that the car was front ended and the shell flexed enough to allow the door to hit the pillar.

Depending on the age of the car and the rigidity of the shell, this doesn't have to be a massive crash.
