official 2008 subaru impreza unveiling

they will look the same with minor body mods, fenders, wings, bumpers, but it is supposed to be on a whole new frame, not just the same bugeye/blobeye/hawkeye facelifted one.....
so what will you guys call this one?
a "NEWerAGE"

I think Mike Wood said would be a NA version only and the Turbo wrx sti next year but still reckon it might have a little twist, diesel version or more likely the duel Fuel TPH

They probably asked the same US Focus Group that messed up Masaraiti's design
We shall call it - Thing. In the context of "that Subaru Thing over there"
See - if we can't find anyone else - lets blame the Americans!!

Here here Prasius. I don`t know what you guys and gals think, but I think they should have stuck with the iconic shape for the new Impreza.
And thought of a new name for it IMHO.
Some may like it, I personally don`t. But you pays your money, you makes the choice.
My money is staying put.

Subaru has definitely lost the plot. I can see classic, bug eye, blob eye and the new hawkeye owners holding on to there cars for a little bit longer.
If it ain't broke don't fix it

Phil,
Curious as to why you've already placed your order? Was it because of your position on the SIDC that you *had* to have one, or do you think it will be a major step forwards and thus a very desirable car. Have you driven one?

im not sure i like it
the idea of a hatch sounds like fun but looks weird to me
the saloon like the others just with well rounded lines
i think its one you have to see in the flesh than the many photoshops around the net !

This 2008 model is complete poo. The whole point of an Impreza is it is a proper saloon - but something really useful would have been an eco-high performance diesel STi saloon variant that packs a useful strong torque punch but with better economy and lower emmissions.
