i have got me a 94 wrx and te previous owner had put a roof scoop on the car. it has been fixed on with stikaflex or something similar and sealant around the edge. i am thinking of removimg it but how can i get it off without damaging the paintwork or is that no possible??

any ideas welcome

If it's a silicon type sealant or sticky tape then then the HD should do it

You`re lucky, mines bolted in... but it`s growing on me, i have no choice..

mate if its stikaflex i wouldnt even bother trying to take it if it would have bonded to the paint work, we use this to stick and seal a deck and a hull of the boats together these are any size from 43' to 105' of coruse they are bolted to but stikaflex is some strong stuff, you dont wanna end up bending the roof do you?

bear in mind that when you take it off you may have to have the roof resprayed

Agree, mine would of needed filling in cus of the bolt holes that`s why i thought sod it...
