Hi guys and girls, got a wee prob with my drivers side window, I have know idea how it happened or when, but now when its up it doesn't fit properly, my brother thinks its the rail or something that the window fits on? anyway I was wondering if this is easy to fix for a novice owner? or if anyone could recommend a garage I could take it to in the Cambridge area.
Oh and does this sort of thing cost a lot to get fixed I'm guessing not much?
My cars an MY99 UK Turbo.
Cheers for any help, happy motoring

i ve had this problem on other cars before where the window goes wonky. its down to the rail being loose just take ur door card off and u will see the rail it may just need tightening or it may be defective. if its broke then i would of thought it would not cost much to replace from a subaru breakers

My window was wonky on my MY01 Wagon, turned out three of four bolts on the regulator were loose. Re-tightened them after adding spring washers and all seems OK so far. Best bet is to take the door card off, operate the window and see what looks like it's moving, if you get what I mean.....
