Put my name down for one!!
My Scooby will be 8 years old when this arrives ..... about right to say goodbye to the old girl and welcome the new Kid on the Block.

I'm not sure how anyone, looking at the Imprezas since the Classic died, can say that this is not absolutely fantastic!!
It makes sense to have a HatchBack - rather than Saloon and Wagon.

It's just a rip off of the new Civic though. It's not Subaru at all, it seems to have lost everything I like about scoobies. Now it's the kinda of thing I can imagine my mum driving.

I'm tempted to ask why, as Japanese cars are RHD, is the wheel on the left?
Surely for mock-ups and test photos, the manufacturer would put the wheel on the side applicable to their native country.
Looks like a wag of bank to me.

I totally agree, I don't want the Impreza labelled to be just a Fast Hatch/Hot Hatch.
When I had a Civic Type R it had that label and I knew that when I bought it, however when I got my Impreza I knew I was buying a Performance Saloon and I want it to remain that way.
I think Subaru are making a big big mistake with the new Impreza, obviously it is just for the WRC so they can keep up with the Focus and Citreons as the current Impreza cannot match the times. So they decided to make a smaller hatch version

Mmm...
Blend the following classic design elements...
- 1 Series BMW
- Daewoo Lanos
- Mazda 3
- Honda Civic
- Astra
= dogs breakfast
You have to wonder about this company; that it manages to remain in business in spite its designers repeated best (or should that be worst) efforts to kill it off.
It'll take more than a "free" flight to New York to tempt folk into the showrooms when this comes out.
Corporate suicide.
