04 STI 2nd gear problem
I have 1 month left of subaru warranty and second gear is very sticky when cold (15 mins or so) sometimes to the point where you can't in gear..........Do you think if i take it to the dealer they will fob me off with "it's the same on them all" or is it worth taking down to get it sorted?

Can't do any harm to ask. My 03 STi is fairly sticky until the gearbox oil gets warm but it doesn't bother me. If its nearly 3 years old it'll be due for gearbox oil change, make sure something decent goes in (? go to a specialist for the service instead of Dealer).

My 05 STI is the same. Second gear is a bitch to get into when the cars cold.
Wouldn't worry to much about it TBH, but for peace of mind, get them to look at it. It couldn't hurt afterall.
