where can i get a single din tray so i can put a decent stereo in my car?? looked on e-bay but cannot find anything...........anyone know if they are available

I assume you have a "New age" with the dreadful double DIN head unit?
A single DIN head unit can be fitted using the existing cage. This leaves a gaping hole underneath which can be filled by a very useful tray with lid, that is available from Subaru (from the Forrester believe?)

Ask your dealer, there is a pocket version and a covered version, the latter being a Forester item.

have a look on milsports site,they do a nice unit with a forester pocket in it,may b able to fit in your car.
its abt £50 if i remember right

Black pocket from dealer part no Z66128AE000 was £16.49 + vat (16/09/2004) or silver forester pocket with lid which from memory was about £12 + vat they ordered this one first for me but I diddent like it in silver so got a black pocket instead.

Almost an exact match. Yes £15 got the garage to throw it in for me when i got the car.
