Calling JDM owners - Strut brace question

Can anyone tell me whether a MY04 JDM STi comes with an STi Strut brace fitted as standard or is it an "aftermarket" mod?

as standard - certainly was on my gl model. Don't know if it's one of the things left off the lower spec model

My MY03 WRX STi GL came with the STi strut brace as standard.
