Help identifying a Type R impreza
Right here goes no pics (sorry)
Its a 1998 R reg White Type R 555 (stiched on the seats), 35,000 on the clock, old style dash no cubby hole in the middle and the DCCD is down by the hand brake (not got an arm rest) Its got a swept back rear spoiler (2teir) the bloke says in ltd edition spoiler?
Is this car a Ltd edition and is there or should there be a plaque in the car some where? Also has the round badge on the back 'the world rally champ sticker 1996'
Anyone shead any light on the subject?

The SIDC FAQ has all the chassis designations for Version 3. Subaru Impreza FAQ
GC8D2DD is the only 2 door car made in that year. It is a standard STI Type R.
In 1996, they did put 555 seats into a limited edition 4 door car. These may have found their way into the vehicle you have found.
